A Thriving Membership
Although we are open to the public, our 140 members love the private aspect of the golf course as well. Our proud members own the golf course which is evident in the perfect tees and fairways and lightning fast greens. Member benefits include: preferred tee times, discounted cart fees, pro shop discounts, restaurant discounts, guest passes and discounted guest fees, full charging privileges, access to our locker rooms, club storage and private dinners. We also have 15 Members Only events throughout the season. Our annual member dues are under $1000 for a family! Founded in 1924, Gaylord Golf Club is one of northern Michigan’s oldest golf clubs. The club moved to its new location just west of Gaylord in 1975. This semi-private club meanders through the hills and hardwoods and features private club conditions, strategic bunkering and arguably the best green complexes found in northern Michigan.
Unlike today’s modern golf courses, which can take more time to play, Gaylord Golf Club is a classic parkland design reminiscent of the early 20th century courses featuring close proximity from greens to tees and a variety of designed holes allowing for a more enjoyable round in less time.
Gaylord Golf Club is one of the few private clubs in northern Michigan allowing public play anytime. We invite you to become a member of our club for a day and experience the game of golf the way it was meant to be.
